Florida Gold Karate Championships.

We went to the Florida Gold Karate Championships, and we Now have a video out on our Channel; check it out down below.

As you can see by the title of this post. We went to this tournament, and now Abby and I didn’t do as well as the first tournament we went to, but we are still oh so happy we went and got to be part of the lovely day.

So, the day before, we hung out with our brother, who lives ten minutes from the tournament.

We looked at downtown West Palm and even got some sweets there. We were up till 11 Pm watching shows, playing games, and just talking and making memories with our brother and his wife.

So, we got to the place, and at first, we couldn’t find our coach, lol, and a close friend of ours told us where he was, so then we saw him after five minutes of looking around this huge gym. We sat down and Just waited for our division to be called out.

A few things to tell from this tournament.

Abby ended up springing her thumb halfway through sparing, and she did make it through the whole round. And the other thing is (Not as bad as Abby) I sparred against a girl who was a green belt, and I felt like a human punching bag! Lol.

She kept hitting my gut, and I was halfway through the round, and I kept looking at the time, hoping I could stop because my stomach was killing me.

But yeah, that’s part of the sport, everyone. You get hurt and even break something (My teacher broke his nose a few months ago), But you still try your best.

1:We have a belt test coming up on the 18th, so Abby and I will be busy working on training and getting ready for it; we will have a video on that, and we will do a video on the belt Ceremony as well.
