Karate training home beginners
Do you want to get fit, have fun, and learn self-defense art?
If so, karate training may be the perfect activity for you! This post will give you an overview of karate and how to start training at home. Keep reading to learn more!
Peace of mind.
Respect. Not just for the teacher but your friends in class. If you don’t respect them, they don’t respect you.
Self Control. I have had to learn this more than once during classes.
Sometimes you get into things, keep going, and when I was sparing, I had to stop myself from hurting myself.
And you even gain muscle from what you do in class.
When you think of the word “Karate,” What comes to mind? Is it kicking? Punches? How about the stances? Hmm, No? Well, this first post will be all about the poses and how they help you more than hurt your legs.
When My sister and I started Karate for the first time, it was so painful; as you do those stances more, your legs will be less painful, and they will gain strength.
Karate training home beginners is so much fun too! You can watch our videos and “Study” What I write about Karate, and learn what we know from our dojo.
For the stances, you sure might be thinking right now. ‘Will it hurt me?” Yes and no, it hurts, but that’s because your legs aren’t used to your stance.
And no. You won’t break your leg or any part. You might get a hurt leg or broken nose in a tournament, but that’s part of the training.
But thankfully, from your home, you won’t get hurt as we do in our dojo,
Karate training home beginners means you in the comforts of your living room, bedroom, or anywhere you’d like to be.
Your legs might hurt the first few times you do this stance, and you might want to stand up and stretch them. But, you have heard of the saying. “No pain, no gain.”
It’s so true; if you don’t feel a little bit of pain from this stance, You’re not doing it right, And I know I’m not the only one who knows this saying.
I am guilty of doing this many times when my teacher had to show me what I was doing wrong.
Another thing to know is that when the teacher points to what you’re doing wrong, that’s okay; doing that teaches you how to do things the right way.
When my teacher does that, I nod and try my best to do my best next time.
Why even try out Karate?
I’m now going to be super honest with you; that is a question I thought as I went to my first class; it was super hard on my sister and me, But remember what I said before?
We weren’t used to what we did in that first class, it was fun, but the next day she and I were in so much pain.
Karate is excellent for building muscles and helps your reflex, and in Karate, you have to be fast; my teacher would tell you that.
But being fast Is not bad; Abby will tell you that it takes a lot out of you to do Karate, but it’s so worth it! We went to our first karate tournament with our dojo back in Feb, and you can read that post here and learn what we learned from that day.
Karate can be easy for some, But you’re just learning this, so it will be new to you but have no fear; if Abby and I can do it and get to a yellow and orange belt, then so can you!
